Alan “All in” Mondus
Alan Mondus is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sandy Vans, a San Diego-based adventure van company built around the mission to get more people outside feeling alive.
An entrepreneur, builder, and lifelong adventure seeker, Alan helped grow Sandy Vans from a small startup into a nationally recognized van brand, building a world class team to create adventure vehicles, products, and experiences for people who refuse to sit still. Sandy Vans has grown from its first driveway builds into a 15,000-square-foot San Diego headquarters, a team of more than 30, and over 100 custom vans on the road.
Outside the shop, Alan is usually chasing the next experience, whether that means kiteboarding, surfing, cycling, golfing, traveling by van, or finding another slightly unreasonable adventure to say yes to.

Brian “Baja Bri” Daigneault
Brian is Co-Founder of Sandy Vans, the San Diego-based adventure van company built around the mission to get more people outside feeling alive.
A lifelong DIY enthusiast and woodworking expert, Brian co-founded Sandy Vans while simultaneously building Solid Wood Worx, a woodworking operation dedicated to creating practical, high-quality components for the adventure community. Driven by precision and a refusal to accept "good enough," he combined his passion for craftsmanship with innovation, testing every product through personal off-roading and camping trips. Sandy Vans acquired Solid Wood Worx in 2025, bringing that expertise and obsession with quality in-house. Now Brian splits his time between high-stakes manufacturer negotiations and the CNC team, where his attention to detail and irreverent approach to problem-solving keep Sandy Vans pushing forward. His philosophy is simple: build things that work, build them right, and surround yourself with people who won't compromise.
Outside the shop, Brian lives the same philosophy: adventurous, precise, and uncompromising. You'll find him seeking new experiences, overlanding, or racing dirt bikes, pushing limits on the track the same way he does on the business side.

A relentless creator driven by precision and possibility, Evan is the engineering force behind Sandy Vans. He leads the design, planning, and engineering of every custom build and product, working directly with manufacturers to push the boundaries of what's possible in adventure vehicle design. His process is methodical but fearless: test ideas, refine details, and refuse anything that doesn't serve the mission. Evan doesn't just conceive builds, he builds them alongside the team, staying hands-on from concept to completion.
