Greg Stelse - Owner / Mechanic / Painter / Driver of The Joker**
Greg has been passionate about cars since a young age. Over the years, he's mastered a wide range of skills, from painting Ferraris to building performance engines, chassis, and transmissions. Greg's expertise in car building has been honed through his experience in both circle track and drag racing, where he applies his knowledge to building motors and transmissions. His painting skills are also put to use ensuring that million-dollar show-winning cars are flawless. Greg is hands-on in the shop, often found working on his drag car, The Joker, or teaching his team new techniques. Dedicated to setting a world record, Greg and The Joker team travel the country, where Greg not only builds but drives the car, with his backup girl by his side.
LEAH STELSE - Owner / HR / Backup Girl
Co-owner and the “Warden” of the shop, Leah is always front and center — whether at car shows or drag races — making sure everyone is taken care of and backing up Greg on the track. She has a passion for decorating and loves creating retro-inspired scenes for photoshoots. A proud mother of three and grandmother of four, Leah balances her busy life between the shop, drag racing, and her family.
AIMEE DUNBAR - Operations Manager - Aka Boomer:
While the Joker’s out on the road, Aimee keeps the wheels turning at Greg’s Speed Shop! She’s not just Greg’s sister — she’s a key part of the team. Whether it’s helping in the shop or stepping in wherever needed, she’s never afraid to get her hands dirty. Aimee truly fits right in and helps keep the whole team firing on all cylinders. When not at work Aimee enjoys spending time with her family, camping and going on vacation whenever she can.
JUSTIN HOLUBETS (AKA Rusty Puddles) - Body Man / Fabricator / Welder
Justin, a graduate of Chippewa Valley Technical College in machining, brings 15 years of welding and fabricating experience to the team. He’s versatile, moving from fabricating engine mount brackets to wet sanding and buffing. When he’s not at work, Justin can be found BMX racing. He’s also part of the Joker team’s pit crew, capturing race footage in his retro style clothing and signature mustache. Known for his adventurous spirit, you might find him pitching a tent at other campsites along the way.
JAKE NUEMANN - Bodyman / Painter / Fabricator
Jake has 15 years of bodywork experience, along with skills in painting and fabrication. His hands-on expertise and attention to detail make him a valuable part of the team. He’s quick-witted and always fun to be around. He loves the outdoors and spending time with his Husky, Buster — though “Chaos” might be a better fit since he’s a bit too clever for his own good.
MIKE TETZLAFF (AKA Dirty Mike) - Head Master Mechanic
Mike joined Greg’s Speed Shop a year ago and has become a powerhouse in the shop. With 12 years of experience as a master mechanic, he likes to stay busy. When he’s not showcasing his skills at work, Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, and kayaking. And as for his nickname—well, we’ll let you use your imagination.
DANNY FITZGERALD (AKA Hollywood) - Parts/Service Manager
Danny is an integral part of operations at Greg’s Speed Shop. With 25-30 years of customer service experience, he keeps everything running smoothly. Though he might look rough around the edges, his quick wit and humor make him a standout character who always has the team laughing
DUSTIN STELSE - Greg and Leah’s Son / Crew Chief for Team Joker
Despite running two businesses of his own, Dustin still finds time to help out at the shop. As the crew chief for Team Joker, he's dedicated to helping his dad set a world record. Dustin is also building his own A/GAS Gasser—a ‘56 Chevy—and hopes to be out on the track next year. Though he’s camera shy, Dustin is single and ready to mingle.
