Who is Mason Dixon?

Mason Dixon

Racin’ Mason Dixon grew up in Harlan County, Kentucky, and now makes his home in Southwest Michigan. The grandson of Kentucky dirt track legend, Dickie Dixon, and nephew of “Fast Eddie” Dixon, Mason has been around race cars his whole life. Mason says “Where I come from it was either coal minin’ or moon shinin’ so with race car in tow, I set off to make a name for myself in stock car racing. I did that ‘til I ran out of money in Grand Junction, Michigan and I’ve been there ever since.” He attempted to launch a stand-up comedy career in the spring of 2020, but with all the comedy clubs closed and festivals canceled he started “The Racin’ Mason Dixon Show” a 500-episode late-night talk show on Facebook Live that ran from September 2020 to April 2022. His checkered flag episode was broadcast live from John Schneider Studios in Holden, Louisiana during Bo’s Extravaganza, a festival produced by John Schneider. Mason is a weekly contributor to two radio shows, “Rob Byrd’s Moondog Show” on WCSY in Southwest Michigan and “Making Noise With Mark Dawson” on Our Generation Radio. He launched “Racin’ With Mason” on POWERtubeTV in May of 2023.
