Heads-Up, Call-Out Shootout – Class & Rules (Prep & No-Prep Events)
- All classes race heads-up using a flashlight or instant green tree start.
- The Rockingham event will feature a Small Tire class only.
- 1/8-mile track, no times shown (track prep is determined per event).
- Small Tire Rules:
True 28x10.5 (no W’s)
Door cars only
Steel roof and quarters
Any engine and power adders allowed 2WD and AWD permitted - Call-Out Format:
Example: 16 racers draw chips—8 numbered, 8 blank.
Racers with numbered chips get tocall outa racer with a blank chip.
Call-outs begin with Chip #1 and continue each round until a winner is crowned. - Entry & Payouts:
Racer entry buy-in is determined per event.
100% of the buy-in goes to the purse, with added sponsor prizes and promoter cash.
Example: $500 buy-in×16 racers = $8,000 purse + Promoter Cash + Sponsor Prizes.
Filming Requirements
- All racers must submit short “Call Out” videos for social media and the TV production. Clear video/audio required—smartphones are acceptable. Submit videos via Google Drive or WeTransfer (both are free).
- Each racer may bring up to 5 crew members + the driver for on-camera access.
- You must be available for both filming days and the rain date, if needed.
